You can reserve a private transportation, which we will take you directly to Bayahie (boat location).

At my hotel the pick-up time is 7:35 am, what time do we leave for the tour?
The average departure time from Bávaro or start of our trip to Bayahibe is from 7:45 am to 8:00 am, it all depends on the punctuality of each person. There are hotel areas outside the Bávaro area where the journey alone takes about 35 to 45 minutes to get to the meeting point (place before leaving for Bayahibe). Depending on your hotel, we adjust the schedule taking into account the other reservations and the transfer time to the place of departure.

As a mechanic, I know that even new vehicles break down, what happens if a bus breaks down?
We have support buses, at a certain distance along the route we have units which are support in case there is a failure. Depending on where the breakdown is, it may take 15 to 35 minutes to arrive, but it all depends on the location. The important thing is that we are prepared and we adjust the logistics of the tour so that you can enjoy the program as described.

If I need to go to the bathroom along the way, do you make a stop?
Yeah! Just go to your guide and he will indicate in a friendly and professional manner to the entire group, a technical stop will be made to use the bathrooms. The places for these are typical centers which we trust in hygiene.

How long does it take to board and go on the tour?
If your group is 35 people, you should understand that you only need to get off the bus, walk approximately 25 meters, put the bracelets on each person, board the assigned boat, let's assume that per person this takes 1 minute per person, this means that you can take between 35 to 45 minutes before leaving for the Island.

Where do we embark, is it the same area where all the excursions leave?
No!, it is not the same area where all the people who go to Saona from all the hotels gather and where the local people come from. Only 5 tourism companies use the boarding area, which will save more than 1 hour waiting like other services do.

What happens if the boat breaks down?
Similar to transportation. Every morning certified mechanics and also the captain (a certified sailor) verify everything in optimal conditions. If one of these detects a failure in the engines, the action to take is not to go out and replace the boat if it does not take a long time to repair. If in any case a mechanical failure arises during the journey, we have support boats around the natural pool. The important thing is: Your safety above all, we never continue if there is any failure, we have support boats in case any eventuality happens.

I have a lesson on my back, can I do the speedboat activity?
If you suffer from a lesson or something degenerative, you will very likely get hurt, since the movements of the waves are unpredictable. If you were affected by wave movements during the activity, we would proceed to take you to the nearest medical center where you would receive medical attention, but in any major case that leads to surgeries or similar procedures, you must have your active medical coverage on hand. . It is recommended that you do not carry out the activity, since the essence of it is subject to possibly sudden movements subject to weather conditions and remember that it is just as its name indicates: Speed ​​Boat. What type of boat do you use?
We use the boats depending on the weather conditions. Sailboats depend on the wind, even though they have engines. The normal thing is: speedboat type boat in the morning and return by motorized sailboat. There are days when the weather conditions require a sailboat with a motor in the morning and a return trip by speedboat in the afternoon.
In the case of a semi-submarine, if we experience bad weather, either on the Island or in Bayahibe, it may be subject to vessel changes to guarantee your safety and enjoyment of the program.

Does the transfer take long before arriving at the island?
Depending on the boat, the transfer is carried out, and in this you have 2 options: Enjoy the beautiful view and the crystalline turquoise blue sea where you can see that a depth between 6 to 9 meters is reflected as if it were 1.5 meters. The place where we stop to transfer is from another world! If your group is 35 people, disembark and wait a few minutes; the boat where we will transfer can take approximately 20 minutes. If this will cause stress and inconvenience, it is advisable not to take the tour, since it is very likely that the other stops and technical waiting times that are part of the tour will be outside your expectations. When we mention that it is better not to do the activity, we are also referring to any other tour, due to the fact that it is part of the programs, there are time intervals where you will have to wait a few minutes.

How long does it take to get to your beach area?
Once we disembark, it takes us between 7 to 10 minutes to reach our beach area, since we have to walk through some coconut trees. I emphasize that it is a beautiful experience.

What happens if I decide to go on my own to another place to take photographs and leave the group?
The first thing is that you must always listen to and follow your guide, because if you deviate the guide cannot sacrifice the time of others waiting for you. If in any case they cannot find you because you decided to go somewhere else, know that the tour must continue, since it would be disrespectful to others if the activity stops because you have decided to go somewhere else. When you show up, know that the transfer from Saona to Bayhibe and from Bayahibe to your hotel will be paid for by you.

How many boats arrive at the beaches while we bathe?
Unlike other services, our spaces are not public spaces where 15 or more boats full of people arrive every 20 minutes, which makes it dangerous to enjoy the beach, since one of these boats could hit you. It is prohibited to approach our spaces, therefore, you will enjoy a clean and quiet area.

How long is the firm open?
Each group is led by a guide, who tells you the place for lunch. The office is open from 12:20 pm to 3:00 pm average time. Something important I want to highlight is: it is impossible for the food trays to remain with food during the time in our spaces on Isla Saona when for an average of 2 and a half hours people are consuming. If food runs out, you should allow a few minutes for the kitchen staff to replace it. There is also the option of consulting with your assigned guide and they will tell you where to purchase the requested food in case you do not want to wait for the tray to be replaced.

What does the grill and open bar include?
On the grill we have: chicken, pork chop and/or pork leg and fish. As an open bar we have: Diet Coca Cola, normal Coca Cola, Sprite, rum, beers and water. This remains open until 3:00 pm on average.

Why do you give the water coconuts that you give hot?
The coconut is a fruit which we collect in the morning and as such the temperature is natural. If for some natural reason the coconut does not taste good, you can please ask the person who gave it to you to replace it, but asking for the coconut to be cold is not possible, since it is peeled and uncovered in front of you and the fruit is at its natural temperature.

What security measures are recommended to have on the island?
The most important thing is to follow the instructions of your guide, taking into account where and how you walk, since it is a virgin area which if you are careless you could trip over a root or branch of a tree. If you do not know how to swim, please do not go within a maximum of 4 meters of the sea as long as it does not reach your waist. Remember that by taking this tour you understand that you are responsible for your actions. We provide a safe, clean, orderly and sanitized place for a beautiful experience, but you are responsible for how you act in the place.

Does each modality have a different beach sector?
It is the same beach sector, each guide directs his own group to a gazebo where they will receive their services. Once in their assigned area, he guides them, separating them according to their reservations: the VIPS, the Exclusives and the Classics. The biggest difference between the modalities is the amenities they receive, the VIPS: 1 Lobster per person, Champagne Glasses, Wine Glasses (white and red), Water Coconuts, Piña Coladas (1 per couple), Reserved and distinctive table. The Exclusives have a table with the VIPS and welcome with coconuts of water and the Classic or personalized ones remain with the group.
Only those with private services have a different or 100% private area including the buffet, barbecue and open bar and depending on the reservation, the exclusive sector is privatized for you and your family.
